Goal Tracker: Zen Goals is developed and published by Ashish Rattan under the Google Play developer name “NeotericAI.” The app is designed to work without an account. We collect only the information needed to sync your goals and habits, provide AI planning features, verify purchases, secure the service, and keep it reliable.

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Ashish Rattan (“we,” “us,” or “our”), publishing under the Google Play developer name “NeotericAI,” handles information when you use the Goal Tracker: Zen Goals mobile application and related services (together, the “Service”).

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Goal and habit content: goal titles and descriptions, habits, schedules, progress entries, units, checkpoints, and plans you choose to import.
• AI requests: goals, planning context, or plan text that you submit to generate or expand a plan.

Information collected automatically

• Anonymous device information: a randomly generated installation identifier and device identifier, platform, app and operating-system versions, locale, and time zone.
• Security and usage information: hashed IP addresses, authentication-token hashes, last activity time, sync revision, AI usage counts, token counts, request outcome, latency, and limited error information.
• Purchase information: product and transaction identifiers, purchase status and dates, subscription or entitlement status, and signed store purchase data. Payment card details are handled by Apple or Google and are not provided to us.

3. How we use information

We use this information to provide cloud sync and restore, generate requested plans, track progress, authenticate your installation, verify and restore in-app purchases, enforce usage limits, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot failures, improve reliability, comply with legal obligations, and protect the Service and its users.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed with service providers that perform work for us, including:

• OpenRouter and the selected AI model provider, which receive the content needed to process an AI planning request;
• Apple and Google, to validate purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and entitlements;
• hosting and infrastructure providers, which process data to operate, secure, and maintain the Service.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service. If the Service is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Service, maintain required transaction and audit records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You can delete the anonymous device profile and associated goals, habits, progress, AI usage, and linked app data from within the app where the delete option is provided. Verified transaction or store-notification records may be retained when necessary for fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, or legal compliance.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Authentication tokens and IP addresses are stored as one-way hashes rather than raw values. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, or to a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your information, or to receive a portable copy. Because Goal Tracker: Zen Goals does not require a named account, we may need your device identifier and reasonable verification before fulfilling a request. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

10. Third-party services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services governed by their own privacy policies. This policy does not control those third parties.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. When required, we will provide additional notice.
